Ahhhh, bugger!
Hmmmm, in my attempt to make the template pretty, I seem to have lost all my comments:( Crap. Sorry to all of you who were so good to grace my blog with your fun and insightful comments. And I only hope they will magically reappear somehow. As an offering to solidify my apology, I give you this photo:
I especially like the smiling one on the right side in the background. Anyone have a good caption for that llama in the back?

Oh no! I feel it is my fault you lost all your comments...said the llama. For weren't you using Haloscan, the very program I had recommended? asked the llama.
(I think template upgrades or resets wipe out most plugins, which Haloscan is.)
Sorry about that...said the llama.

This is one possible solution though potentially dangerous for the template programming:
http://logicalphilosopher.blogspot.com/2006/09/getting-haloscan-to-work-in-beta.html
But I've read a few accounts of folks who have recovered their Haloscan comments following this route.
Before/If you attempt it, I'd cut and paste your entire template code (from the Expand Widget area, I think) into a Word doc and save it so you can undo anything about this that seems to screw it up.
Good luck!

That llama in the background looks a lot like Joe Camel. Even the grass or whatever is hanging out of his mouth is suggestive of smoking. He's got that same knowing look of savoir faire.
I wonder if this photo is part of some insidious campaign to re-introduce the character...except this time as a llama!

Ned, that was a very good observation about the background llama. I knew he looked familiar, but I didn't know why. The smirk and that know-it-all attitude is a tell-tale sign.
